I hope everyone had an enjoyable Christmas, and wish you a safe and entertaining New Years eve!

Events both old and new continue to unfold during this holiday season. As much as I enjoy the holidays and the pleasant diversions, I look forward to putting them behind us and resuming focus on priorities. I am encouraged, as it seems to me that the citizenry is becoming more and more aware of current events. In my opinion, that is what needs to happen. As topics emerge in the public forefront, more discussion and questioning will take place. If the questions are answered directly and honestly, there is a stronger chance that our elected representatives will be held accountable by the electorate. It is with that thought that I optimistically enter the new year!
