So how do you feel about this recent proposal. After graduation, you will not be required to pay more than 10% of your annual income against your college loans. After 20 years, your loans are forgiven. After 10 years, if you have a public (government) job, your loans are forgiven.
I'm shaking my head. Is this for real? I think it takes a lot of personal responsibility away from students. Granted, education cost are high. But if you want one, you can get one. Who's going to pay for this program. Oh sorry, that was a dumb question. The Mrs. and I work, our kids work, and through the fruits of our labor, our kids will get a good college education with little if any debt. In other words, I pay for my kids, and somebody else's kids?
What else can we give people, while our debt ceiling climbs and our credit rating deteriorates? Don't answer that!!!!!
